Georgia BORN, South Carolina raised. Shannon is a USC Upstate graduate in the Interdisciplinary Studies of Art, Education, Psychology, and Business AND EARNED HER MASTERS OF EDUCATION IN ART EDUCATION FROM CONVERSE UNIVERSITY.

As an artist & an educator my passion stems from my relationships with people. I believe art & creativity to be an essential expression of humanity. Art can be a vehicle for inner-healing by our own individual strength & spirit. Stained glass has been my primary passion for 10 years for the power it has to reflect & represent elements of the natural world through light & color. I love drawing original stained glass patterns that bring contemporary styles to traditional methods.

I love working with all different media as I feel like painting exercises parts of your creativity differently than working with graphite; in my experiences all mediums inform & strengthen each other. Teaching & working with different media inspires me to create new patterns for stained glass media inspired by all the aspects of art I love & appreciate.
